Who my promotional video is aimed at...
Both of my created promotional videos will be aimed at the
same target audience as ‘The Figures’ This is due to me creating the
promotional video for the band so I would want to market the video for their
fans and to people similar of this.
To find out the band target audience I took a look at their
social network sites such as FaceBook and MySpace to find statics and viewing
figures for what sort of people there fan base is made up from.
From inspecting there official FaceBook page and looking
though there viewing figures I have found an age group for the bands fan base. 13-24 is the bands fan base which means for me
to be able to appeal to their fans I would need to create a video suited to
this age group.
As for the location their fan base is majority based in Suffolk and Norfolk area, mostly in built up cities such as Norwich and Lowerstoft When we do the interview style scenes i want to make sure they talk about upcoming gigs which would be local to the fan base and easy to travel to and from.
