I wanted to take a look at some existing band promotional videos around over the internet and social media sites because i felt as this is where mine will be shown it would be best to have a look at what has has been made and have a look and some code and conventions.

While watching this video i found some code and conventions from watching this

 promotional/documentary video.

• Voice Overs

I noticed that several of the videos i watched used a lot of voice overs during there videos. 

this would be something i would want to incorporate into my video. 

• Music Video Codes And Conventions 

While watching a few different promotional videos i got to notice that a lot of them use the same 

or similar codes and conventions and music videos, a lot of quick cuts and beat cuts were used

in a lot of the videos i watched on YouTube. 

• Mix Of Black and White and Colour 

I tried this technique and style out before i came across this video. but im glad it was a code 

and convention as it fits in with the norm of promotional videos on the internet.
